The Lorne Sculpture Biennale is FREE to attend, sculptures are on display 24/7 in public spaces, mainly outdoors. See the 2018 Program for further details about the art and our exciting events.

 

 

WHERE


The Lorne Sculpture Biennale is held along the picturesque foreshore of Lorne. Lorne is a seaside town where the Great Otway National Park meets the ocean, in Victoria, Australia. Lorne is a vibrant and popular destination along the Great Ocean Road tourist route.

 

 

GETTING HERE


By public transport

V/Line provides bus services to and from the surrounding hinterland in the Great Ocean Road region and coastal towns, including Lorne. To visit Lorne buses connect at Geelong, Marshell and Colac. These stations are serviced by the V/Line Melbourne – Warrnambool train line.


Bus, coach, and train times may vary and are not available 24/7. Coaches will replace trains on the evening Geelong service, depending on availability. For further information and timetables contact Public Transport Victoria:

Lorne is 142km from Melbourne CBD and will take approximately 1hr:53mins to drive.

By plane

Avalon Airport is located just outside of Geelong and is the closest airport to the start of the Great Ocean Road. It offers easy transport options, including plenty of car hire options.
