WildHoney - Genius Loci

Follow The Keeper – a benevolent and mysterious giant neither human nor animal - along the foreshore where a fire effigy awaits awakening. Place your wish in the hands of The Keeper who, upon lighting the Effigy, will make an offering of these wishes to the spirits in an act of transformation that will release the Chimera, a hybrid creature of Otway animals: tiger snake, bat, and wedge-tail eagle. Gather around the cleansing flames and come together in a celebration of the spirits that still occupy the natural beauty of the Otways: its forests, waterfalls, and the ocean.

Your wish could be a message to a loved one, a hope for the future, an apology or a message of gratitude to Mother Nature herself.

WildHoney is a small, humming hive of designers, performers and makers based in the Otway Ranges. Drawing inspiration from the ancient roots of art and theatre, this team of visionary creatives conjures otherworldly stiltwalking acts, audacious performance projects, pop-up installations and collaborative outdoor community events.

Location: Meet at the gathering place adjacent to the trampolines entrance and follow The Keeper to Erskine Paddock where the Effigy will be lit.
