Kate Vivian

Artist bio:

Kate Vivian is a multimedia artist, sculptor ceramicist and illustrator. currently living and working in central Victoria.

A broad experience with horticultural and agricultural business practices served to coalesce her childhood experiences on the family dairy farm. And have been critically formative to her artistic practice. Which revolves predominantly around women on the land and modified landscapes.

Vivian achieved a B.Vis.Arts Hons. at the Federation University Victoria. 

Her sculptural and ceramic work is predominantly formed with found clays.

Her work has been selected for national and international events. Some of which include the Murray darling Palimpsest, Toyota indoor-outdoor sculpture exhibition. The Gangjin Celadon Festival South Korea and Wye River small sculpture.
