Artist bio:
Lesley Walsh, is a multidisciplinary visual artist, living and working in Hastings and Collingwood, Melbourne, Victoria.
Her practice uses multidimensional processes and techniques from both natural and manmade products such as clay, clay slip, sand, books, salt, photography, wire, solder and balsa wood. Lesley uses these processes as an interplay to tell stories of the increasing chaos on the planet as a result of climate change.
Since graduating with a Masters of Fine Art in 2016, Lesley’s practice has developed to tell stories of the constant movement between nature and man. Lesley’s work focuses on overcoming man’s destruction of the planet and the constant interplay at its fringes.
