Using seaweed as a sculptural material with Chris Rockley
Chris Rockley is a scientific illustrator, specialising in flora, algae, estuarine fish and wetland flora and fauna. She is also a passionate teacher and workshop facilitator.
Chris will host two workshops that will both start with a rock ramble to find your materials!
Workshop 1: Using seaweed as a sculptural material (recommended for ages 12 and up)
Cutting, splitting, forming and drying bull kelp to create a 3D object.
Sunday 13 March from 1-4pm
Location: Meet at the front of the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club for foraging. Construction will take place in Uniting Church Hall, access via Smith Street.
